ATTENTION: Today, July 7, 2025, we went to this Money exchange. The man was very friendly, but I was surprised that they didn't ask for our passports or ID. He exchanged a significant amount for us and didn't give us a receipt; we didn't even notice. He even gave us advice on how to avoid thieves, and it turned out we were standing right in front of one. That night, when we went to dinner, they wouldn't accept the 50,000 peso bill I paid with because they said it was counterfeit. Worried, we checked all the bills, and thankfully, only that one was fake, and one 100,000 peso bill was also counterfeit. We have no doubt it was there since nobody gives you change for a 100,000 peso bill, and from there we went back to the hotel to rest. They didn't have the watermark. We were told that exchange houses here have this habit; every bill they give you is like that. BE CAREFUL!
