About Divixos

Divixos is an independent directory of exchange offices in Colombia. We list the exchange offices of Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Cartagena, Cúcuta, Pereira, Santa Marta and Ibagué in one place, with the rate they post, their address, hours, reviews and directions.

The idea is simple: before heading out, a traveler or a local should know where they'll get the most for their dollars or euros, and which office is closest.

How it works

• Twice a day, at 8:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Colombia time, a program reads the buy and sell rate each office posts on its website.
• We periodically refresh the list of offices and their details from Google: address, hours, phone and rating.
• If an office doesn't publish its rate, we list it without a price and with its phone number so you can call. We never guess rates.
• Rates far off from the rest of the city, or older than two days, are left out of the ranking.

What we don't do

Divixos doesn't buy or sell currency, doesn't take money from users and doesn't broker exchange transactions. We don't charge exchange offices to be listed or ranked higher either: the order depends only on the posted rate and distance.

How we're funded

The site is funded by Google AdSense advertising. Ads are shown separately from the content and don't affect how exchange offices are ranked.
