Data controller

What data we handle

  • We don't ask you to register, we have no forms and we don't keep user accounts.
  • Location: if you use "Nearest to me" or "Find the nearest", your browser asks for permission and calculates the distance to exchange offices on your own device. Your location is not sent to our servers or stored.
  • Technical data: like any website, our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs data such as IP address, browser and pages visited, for security and operation.
  • Emails: if you write to us, we use your address and message only to reply.
  • Advertising: Google and its partners may collect data through cookies to show ads (see below).
  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit the site, from which cities and which pages they read. Google Analytics uses cookies and data such as IP address and device; we don't use it to identify you personally.

Google AdSense advertising

  • Divixos shows Google AdSense ads. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this site.
  • Advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com). You can also opt out of other vendors' cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info.
  • More on how Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Third-party services

  • Google Maps Platform (Places): names, addresses, hours, ratings, reviews and photos of exchange offices. Photos are served through our own server so no credentials are exposed.
  • OpenStreetMap: maps load from its servers, which receive your IP address when the map is shown.
  • Vercel: website hosting.
  • Google Analytics 4: visit measurement. You can block it with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
  • Each of these services has its own privacy policy.

Purposes

  • Showing the directory and calculating distances.
  • Keeping the site secure and running.
  • Replying to your messages.
  • Funding the site through advertising.
  • Measuring site usage to improve it.

Your rights

As a data subject you can access, update and correct your data, request proof of authorization, be told how it has been used, revoke authorization or request deletion, and file complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC).

To exercise them, email contacto@juliandurango.com with your name, your request and how to reach you. We answer inquiries within ten (10) business days and claims within fifteen (15) business days, as required by Law 1581 of 2012.
