Be very careful when exchanging money here. They try to pass off old 50,000 peso bills (they're no longer in circulation and won't be accepted in stores or taxis). They take advantage of the fact that you're a foreigner to get rid of your old cash. Demand that they give you new bills from the current series!

I went to exchange $412 USD, which consisted of 67 one-dollar bills. Initially, they told me they would accept 50 one-dollar bills, then they said they would accept them but for 100 pesos less. A complete lack of respect for the customer. I absolutely do not recommend them. It's worth noting that I bought these same one-dollar bills at Eurocambios Cosmo Centro, and their response was: "Go to Cosmo Centro to complain."
